Mortgage Brain has integrated Paymentshield into its CRM Brain platform, giving brokers the ability to offer clients a home insurance quote, automatically as part of the mortgage application process.
The integration means that, once a mortgage application has been submitted through CRM Brain, brokers will be prompted to ask their client whether they’d like help arranging home insurance.
Greater integration and efficiency
The move is designed to give brokers a quicker, more seamless way of arranging home insurance alongside their client’s mortgage application. Built on Paymentshield’s API integration capability, the connection allows customer data already captured in CRM Brain to be passed across automatically, so brokers no longer need to log in to a separate system or manage the process manually at a key stage of the client journey.
A new revenue opportunity for brokers
The integration also gives brokers a straightforward way to protect more of their clients and generate an additional revenue stream from within their existing workflow.
For clients, the benefit is a quicker, more ‘joined up’ mortgage journey. Rather than being passed to another provider or portal, clients can be offered a home insurance quote at the point when they’ve just completed their mortgage application.
